Publication Ethics Statement
The International Journal of Islamic Education Studies (IJIES) is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and takes all possible measures against publication malpractice. This statement is based on the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
Duties of Authors

Authors must ensure that their manuscripts are original works and free from plagiarism.

All sources used in the research must be properly cited.

Authors must not submit the same manuscript to more than one journal at the same time.

Authorship should accurately reflect individuals’ contributions to the work; all those who have made significant contributions should be listed as co-authors.

Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest.
Duties of Editors

Editors are responsible for deciding which manuscripts submitted to the journal will be published, based on the results of peer review and the relevance to the journal’s scope.

Editors must evaluate manuscripts solely on academic merit, without regard to authors’ race, gender, religious belief, ethnic origin, nationality, or political philosophy.

Editors must ensure a fair, unbiased, and timely peer review process.

Editors must maintain confidentiality of submitted manuscripts and must not use any part of the information for personal advantage.
Duties of Reviewers

Reviewers must provide objective, constructive, and timely feedback on the scholarly merit of the manuscript.

Reviewers should identify relevant published work that has not been cited by the authors.

Reviewers must keep all information regarding manuscripts confidential.

Reviewers must decline to review manuscripts in which they have conflicts of interest.
Publisher’s Responsibilities

The publisher (Berkaho Village-Owned Enterprise) ensures that the journal’s operations follow internationally accepted publishing standards.
