Focus and Scope

The International Journal of Education and Learning (IJEL) is a peer-reviewed academic journal that aims to advance knowledge and practice in the field of education. IJEL provides a global forum for the exchange of innovative ideas, empirical research, and critical analysis related to teaching and learning at all levels and in diverse contexts.

Focus:

IJEL focuses on publishing high-quality, original works that contribute to the improvement of educational theory, policy, and practice. The journal encourages interdisciplinary approaches and welcomes articles that address contemporary challenges and emerging trends in education.

Scope:

The journal invites submissions from scholars, researchers, educators, and practitioners on topics including (but not limited to):

  • Teaching and Learning Approaches: Active learning, problem-based learning, project-based learning, collaborative learning, flipped classroom, and experiential education.

  • Curriculum and Instruction: Curriculum development, instructional design, learning outcomes, assessment and evaluation, and competency-based education.

  • Teacher Education: Pre-service and in-service teacher training, professional development, teacher identity, and reflective practice.
