Publication Ethics
The International Journal of Multidisciplinary Research and Innovation (IJMRI) is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and integrity. We adhere strictly to the ethical guidelines outlined by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and expect all parties involved in the publication process—authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher—to comply with ethical standards.
Duties of Authors:
-
Authors must submit original work that has not been published or submitted elsewhere.
-
Proper citation of all sources and avoidance of plagiarism are mandatory.
-
Authors must disclose any conflicts of interest and acknowledge all funding sources.
-
Authors are responsible for the accuracy of data and must be willing to provide raw data for editorial review if requested.
-
All listed authors must have made a significant contribution to the research and approved the final version of the manuscript.
Duties of Editors:
-
Editors evaluate submissions based on academic merit, without regard to race, gender, religious belief, or institutional affiliation.
-
Editors ensure a fair and unbiased double-blind peer review process.
-
Editors must ensure the confidentiality of manuscripts and not use unpublished information for personal advantage.
-
Editors are responsible for making publication decisions based on reviewer recommendations and journal policies.
Duties of Reviewers:
-
Reviewers must provide objective, constructive, and timely feedback.
-
Reviewers should identify relevant published work that the authors may have missed.
-
Reviewers must not have any conflict of interest and must maintain the confidentiality of the manuscript.
-
Reviewers should inform the editor if they suspect plagiarism or unethical behavior.
Misconduct and Retractions:
IJMRI will take appropriate action in cases of suspected ethical misconduct, such as plagiarism, data fabrication, duplicate publication, or authorship disputes. This may include retraction, correction, or formal investigation. All actions will follow COPE guidelines.
IJMRI is committed to fostering a culture of academic integrity and transparency in all aspects of its editorial and publishing process.
